Brandon Urie is known as an American musician, songwriter, singer and the lead vocalist of a former popular band Panic! The artist turns 36 with a lot of controversies and allegations. Childhood

Urie was born on 12th April 1987, in St, George, Utah. His family moved to Las Vegas when he was just 2 years old. He was the fifth child of his parents, Boyd and Grace Urie. He was initially raised in the LDS faith. However, he left the faith when he was 17 due to his disbelief in the faith and ideology of the community. He attended Paulo Verde High School in Las Vegas where he met the group Panic! The band selected him as the lead guitarist first, soon he became the lead vocalist of the band.

In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone in 2016, Urie revealed that he has Synesthesia. Urie also disclosed that He has been diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). He had been taking medicine for that since his childhood. He has always been open to discussing his mental health.

The last album of the band ‘Viva Las Vengeance’ released on August 19, 2022 took a decent run. Following the album, on 24th January 2023, Urie announced the disbandment. Unfortunately, the album was the last song of the group. 

Brendon Urie Controversies

The artist is now having a tough phase of his life. One of the reasons for Panic! At the Disco is brendon urie controversy. Although the lead vocalist said that he wanted to leave the band to focus on his family, things are not as simple as that. Everything began in the Summer of 2020 when the wife of the band’s bass player Dallon Weeke accused the band’s bodyguard of sexual harassment. Urie did not take any action immediately, but he fired the bodyguard Zack Hall. Nonetheless, they remained friends. 

Apparently, Twitter users were not happy about that. The vocalist’s reluctance about the sexual misconduct by the bodyguard made them bitter against him. Soon, hashtag #BrendonUrieSpeakUp started trending. 

Adding to this is footage went public of a concert of Panic! where the singer made an improper remark to the teenage fans in the audience which alludes to rape. The video read, 

“If I see you after the show, I will fuck you. I don’t care if you want it. I care more if you don’t, ‘cuz then I really want it, dude. I really want it, bro.

We hope the singer will come out from the allegations and controversies justifiably soon. Nonetheless we, on behalf of his fans across the globe, wish him a very happy birthday for his contribution to world music.
