Taylor Swift Surprises Fans As She Sings ‘Speak Now’ Vault Track ‘Timeless’ Live in Denver

Taylor Swift Singing Live At Her Eras Tour Concert In Kansas City

13 years after “Timeless” originally appeared on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), Taylor Swift finally performed it live.

The song, which Swift released on July 7 as part of her re-recorded Speak Now, is brand-new to listeners but quickly establishes itself as one of the most enduring love songs in her catalogue. On Friday night (July 14), she stunned the audience by giving the ballad its first-ever live performance at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High.

During the acoustic portion of Eras Tour performance, where she shakes things up with two surprise songs that aren’t on the standard set list, Swift had the crowd on their toes until she delivered the first line of ‘Timeless’: “Down the block, there’s an antique shop/ And something in my head said, ‘Stop,’ so I walked in.”

Even though “Timeless” has only been on fans’ playlists for about a week, the Denver audience shouted along while Swifties at home bemoaned missing the song’s live debut while also praising the tune on social media.

One admirer wrote on Twitter on Friday night, ‘idk i just think that if you dont like timeless or you dont grasp it, it’s probably because you didn’t fall in love with the classic storytelling country taylor’. Say, “Like look me in the eye and tell me it wouldn’t be a smash on country radio in 2010.”

Initial reports to Luminate indicate that Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which includes re-recorded versions of the original album’s tracks as well as six songs “From the Vault,” has already had the biggest week of 2023 for any album in its first six days of release. On Sunday, July 16, the album’s first-week sales figures and debut position on the multimetric Billboard 200 albums chart (dated July 22) are anticipated to be made public.

Fans are surprised as well as happy as their favourite singer chose them to unveil the vault song to.
