Bad Bunny apologized to Harry Styles during his headline set at the second weekend of Coachella 2023 on Friday .

The onscreen message during his performance reads, “Sorry Harry. It was a mistake from my team. We love you<3”.

The apology came because the rapper threw shade on Harry Styles during his performance at the first weekend of Coachella. On April 14 when performing the song ‘El Apagón’, the background screen behind Bunny displayed a tweet about Harry. It read, “goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el again.”

The song is one of the chartbusters tracks from his Billboard 200 Un Verano Sin Ti album. Just a day after the incident, Bad Bunny’s team gave an interview with Rolling Stone and said he had no comment and Benito did not approve the tweet’s message.

The company (Sturdy. co) that created the images and visual content for Bad Bunny’s stage performance at Coachella also confirmed that the rapper had never asked for Harry’s dissing tweet. They also said that it was not to throw shade on Harry Styles.

Last Weekend, the Bad Bunny became the first-ever Latino headliner of the Coachella Festival. During his performance, he shared how life is in the celebrity bubble.

He shared with audiences, “Humbly speaking, people think they know the lives of famous people, but they don’t. They don’t know what we feel, what we live through.”

On the second weekend, he collaborated with Jowell and Randy, Jose Feliciano, Cortez Arcangel, and Grupo Frontero.

Before his performance, he joined Gorillaz and surprised fans for the song ‘Tormenta’.
