This year in February, P!nk when appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, they signed a sort of Soundwaves artwork ‘Broken and Beautiful’ to support No Kid Hungry.
Crafted by Tim Wakefield, the soundwaves artwork was auctioned for $50,000. It stood by the cause No Kid Hungry which works to solve the problem of children’s hunger in the United States. Hunger issues among children are a severe problem in almost all countries. Their stance on the cause is extremely inspiring and helpful.
Tim video-called Kelly on her show to inform her that he met the lady who bought the piece. He said, “To say it was emotional would be an understatement. One of the best moments of my career.”
Wakefield said that the piece collected more than $60,000 for the great cause. P!nk has been one of the long-time advocates for the organization. She will be honoured as a No Kid Hungry Champion on the 27th of April at the No Kid Hungry dinner.
As per a press release, the event “celebrates the commitment of local leaders who make an impact for kids in need.”
