The Jonas Brothers performed a special concert Today on Friday, May 12, to kick the release day for their brand-new album The Album.

The pop star brothers returned to the stage to begin their live show in earnest with “Waffle House,” the second single off their lately released  LP, after pre-taping “Leave Before You Love Me,” their 2022 collab with Marshmello, for the NBC morning show’s 9 a.m. hour.

Today’s host Hoda Kotb loved the ‘Summer Baby’ more than anyone else in the concert. He danced through the crowd of Jonatics and gleefully asked, “Doesn’t it sound like summer?” as Joe sang, “Outer world, voodoo baby, supernatural sugar cane/ Overdrive all the way, hypersonic ricochet/ In my head every day like a melody, baby/ Skyline, baby blue.” After that, the band played “Wings,” the lead single from The Album, to close out the show with a surprise extra track.

Haley Lu Richardson, the star of the “Wings” music video, was also there as Today’s special correspondent for the live show. She even gave away two tickets to the next tour opener of the Jonas brothers’ at Yankee Stadium to a lucky fan after knowing that the concert in Maryland took place on the same day as the wedding of woman.

Big Time Rush, Niall Horan, Chance the Rapper, Karol G, and more performers are also going to appear on Today’s 2023 Citi Summer Concert Series in the upcoming weeks.
