His laid-back disposition has served as the foundation for Afroman’s whole career. He isn’t always hesitant to act out, though, especially when the situation calls for it. His team isn’t either. Members of Afroman’s group got into a serious altercation with rapper Young Buck’s crew in video obtained by TMZ. As with any other situation involving Afroman’s life (police raid included), he addressed the situation on social media.
Afroman suggested in a video he posted on his personal page that the fight started because someone was high. The Young Buck video had writing over it that said, “Coke cane (cocaine) is a hellava (hell of a) drug.”
Afroman explained the incident saying, “Went to do a show, and the venue told me to be there at 9:20 pm when I got there, I had to wait because somebody was still on the stage. The venue had to close at 11 pm I was waiting with my social media photographer, my bodyguard, and my artist Lil Sodi when Young Bucc entered the room. I am anti-N-Word Young Bucc yells out f*cc all n-words who don’t do drugs. He was behaving hostile and aggressive.”
Afroman said that In the VIP section, he entered, moving left and shouting insults. He later turned and walked back 70 feet, striking the social media photographer on the side. Then, he approached Lil Sodi, using racial slurs and encouraging drug use, and backhanded him. Lil Sodi pushed back verbally, but the altercation ensued.
He described writing, “We were on the right side of the VIP section. He entered the room, going to the left side of the VIP section yelling all kind of insults. He changed his direction and walked bacc over 70 feet. He walked over to my social media photographer and, with a bacc hand struck him in the side of his stomach.
Afroman’s relaxed demeanour supports his creative character, but don’t underestimate his willingness to take action. A recent altercation with Young Buck’s group has drawn attention. A mysterious video on social media with rumours of chemicals at work gives away the real cause. According to Afroman’s testimony, there was animosity and racist epithets exchanged, which led to a regrettable brawl. The complexity of life are still developing.
